Experience:

After completing his Masters degree in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Nottingham, Alex worked as a spacecraft mechanisms engineer for Airbus. In this role, he was responsible for the manufacture, integration, and testing of the Antenna Deployment and Trimming mechanism fitted to Eurostar telecommunications satellites. He additionally worked alongside the European Space Agency on a number of scientific projects, including the ExoMars Rover and JUICE probe. In this role, he investigated and resolved non-conformances in a wide range of critical components.

Alex joined Burgoynes in 2022 as a fire and explosion investigator. Since joining, he has investigated over 100 fires in domestic, commercial, and industrial environments.
